| Professor Schaefer is one of the most prominent quantum chemists worldwide. Besides his important contributions to the development of new methods and computer programmes for calculating molecular systems, a major focus has been on improving the interplay of theory and experiment in understanding chemical processes. During his stay in Germany, Professor Schaefer plans to develop and apply quantum-chemical methods for studying complex molecular systems. |
